CALIBRATING THE MONITOR:

PaintLook contains the application MlColorScope® for the correct calibration of the monitor:

MlColorScope® (patented method) is an internal procedure of PaintLook that reads the settings of the monitor in use and adjusts the application so that the colours and products contained in PaintLook are displayed with reliability and faithfulness to the real ones.
MlColorScope® is a guided procedure, extremely simple and intuitive.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Differently from other external procedures, MlColorScope® is not intrusive. With our method, any colour profiles you set on your monitor are not altered.

DEFINING THE AREAS:

PaintLook has various tools for defining the workable areas of the image:

Simple, intuitive tools, highly effective and fast (patented method)
Standard tools in line with the most widely used graphic programmes
Advanced tools for achieving results of the maximum precision.

PRACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS:

To achieve high quality results very rapidly, we recommend:

Dividing the image into several work areas in order to differentiate and combine different colours and products. In any case, the areas can be selected simultaneously to apply a single colour and/or product (during the construction, the workable areas are identified by temporary colours assigned by the user (Fig. 2B).
When defining the workable areas ("Draw" mode), it is better to work on portions of the original image and not on the entire photograph in a single moment. This will make all the operations faster and the results more precise.
In general, it is advisable to define the areas of the original image in a logical way (e.g.: ceiling and walls as separate areas) and divide the zones having very different shades into different areas (Fig. 2B).

CHOOSING THE COLOURS:

With PaintLook, you can apply all the colours you wish to your image by choosing between:

The standard colour cards supplied with the application (NCS-System®©, ©RAL Classic, ©RAL Design)
The colour cards of the individual manufacturers (available in the company customised versions)
Your personal colour cards. In fact, with PaintLook you can use not only a practically unlimited number of colours, but you can also insert at any moment, simply and autonomously, all the products you wish.

APPLYING DECORATIVE EFFECTS, TEXTURES AND BORDERS:

A variety of products and combinations that only PaintLook can offer you:

A library of decorative effects supplied with the application, to which you can combine the colours you wish.
A library of textures supplied with the application, and the libraries of the individual manufacturers (present in the company customised versions).
A library of borders supplied with the application, and the libraries of the individual manufacturers (present in the company customised versions).
Your own personal libraries. In fact, similarly to the colours, with PaintLook you can insert, simply and autonomously, all the decorative effects, textures and borders you wish at any moment.
Patented methods for applying the decorative effects, textures and borders.

UNRIVALLED REALISM AND SUPERIOR QUALITY:

With Paintlook, technical and practical problems are no longer an issue, and results are beyond compare:

Differently from other software that are not able to apply the colour uniformly when you are working with images that originally present areas with very different and contrasting colours (for example, applying the same colour, light or dark, in the image in Fig.2A, where the walls are red and the ceiling is white), in PaintLook all the products are applied without colour alterations, in a homogeneous and natural way, faithful to reality (Fig. 3).
In addition, PaintLook does not require artificial tools or manual intervention by the user to reproduce the light. Thanks to our patented method, even after the products have been applied, the new image automatically preserves the naturalness of the original environment with its own light and shadows (Fig. 3 and Fig. 4).

REPAIR YOUR FACADES .....

PaintLook features an extraordinary new function:

Especially in exterior environments, there are frequently areas that are damaged with problems of colour stripping, detached plaster, mould, etc. (Fig. 5 and Fig. 5A). With the "Repair" function of PaintLook, you can intervene on the damaged zones in just a few seconds and effectively give the image its original splendour (Fig. 5B).

..... AND PAINT IT JUST LIKE IN REALITY:

Now your image is ready to be decorated, taking advantage of all the characteristics and functions of PaintLook (Fig. 5C).

Enjoy!

STORING YOUR DESIGNS

PaintLook has various ways of storing the images:

You can store the image with the defined areas (Fig. 2B): in this way, you can recall your image at any time and proceed with new and infinite combinations of colours and products.
You can store and export the images designed (Fig. 3, Fig. 4, Fig. 5C): this makes it possible to print them and/or export them to other programmes (to create presentations, to insert them in documents, in prospectuses, in estimates, etc.).

PRINTING YOU IMAGES

You can print all the images designed along with a list of the products you used.
